One on One Private Consultation

Private sessions take place in and around your home and can be scheduled at your convenience. Each session is tailored to the individual needs of the client and takes into consideration a client’s experience, time, and ability. Further consideration involves the breed and personality of the dog being trained to build the best possible behavior plan to fit the two. Many clients find this to be the most effective and convenient way to learn about their dogs.

Group Classes

Obedience 2.0 /  Take what you have learned from Basic Obedience and Manners class and put it to work for you and your pooch! Some of the protocols you will learn include long distance distracted "stays", walking up to each other and sitting politely, greeting guest and strangers without jumping or barking. This is the next step toward achieving your dream dog!

Info: Wednesdays, April 13th - May 18th from 8PM-9PM (6 weeks)  @ Wag Club

Basic Obedience & Manners / Dogs and their people will learn the ins and outs of basic commands like, "SIT", "COME", "STAY", "DROP IT", as well as other helpful manners to use in everyday life.

Info: Tuesdays, April 12th - May 17th from 8PM-9PM (6 weeks)  @ Wag Club

Puppy & Wine  /  This widely popular class is perhaps the most important you will take. Puppies go through a stage of social development that ends between 12-16 weeks. During this time, it is critical to expose them to as many social situations as possible. This is an opportunity  for pups to learn how to elicit and end play, how hard to use their mouths, and basically how to get along with other members of their own species safely.

Info: Every Monday from 7:30PM-8:30PM @ Wag Club

Intro to Agility  /  This high energy class focuses on building up your dogs focus and confidence as they learn to navigate an array of hurdles, tunnels, and other obstacles. It will also enhance the communication and trust between you and Fido that will last a lifetime. Your dog will literally be jumping through hoops in the super fun class!

Info: Tuesdays, April 19th - May 17th from 7:30PM-8:30PM (5 weeks)  @ Wag Club

He formed Dogboy Inc. in 2004 and works professionally as a dog trainer and behavior consultant serving NYC. Robert’s training philosophy reflects his belief that while most dog owners have the best of intentions, they often lack important information about how dogs learn and perceive the world around them. These miscommunications can lead to behavioral problems that range from nuisance behaviors like inappropriate barking or jumping, to severe behaviors like aggression issues or separation anxiety — reasons why perfectly normal dogs end up in an overcrowded shelter system.
